Trip to Tika Bhairav

On shivering cold morning of Kathmandu, I woke up at about 3A.M. to get my mobile
charged for there was already 12 hours per day loadshedding implemented here. And I
was going to visit the temple in far Lalitpur beside Chapagaun. I didn’t wished to
get to bed instead I turn my computer on and tested the wordpress 2.7 in my
localhost. Downloaded the simple tags plugin for it.

The temperature had already reached 1C. And I was shivering hard inside while I
walked to catch the vehicle with my parents. After a long drive, we finally got
there. The temple was not far from the Leprosy Traning Centre, Anand Ban (forest).
The road to get there was the average nepali roads in the hills, very steep and
hardly enough for the two vehicles to pass beside. The drivers always risking their
lives along with those of passengers. Some portions of the roads weren’t black
topped and those were full of dust and the heavy vehicles carrying the building
materials made them worst along with the nearby trees covered with dust. That was miserable. I was implused to clean my body anyway after the two weeks in such cold day. The word made me remember the cold breeze making us more colder as we got to
the temple Tika Bhairav (or Tanka Bhairav). The temple was small and open and a
small group of people singing the religious rhymes nearby. For the security reasons
I looked around the idol, however there was an iron gate not very prominently
visible. The Bhairav (angry state of Lord Shiva)’s Big portrait ran on the
background of the idol.
